PROJECT OVERVIEW
Definiton of our team
Leadership is the process through which an individual tries to influence another individual or a group of individuals to accomplish a goal. Leadership is valued in our culture, especially when it helps to achieve goals that are beneficial to the population, such as the enactment of effective preventive-health policies. An individual with leadership qualities can also improve an organization and the individuals in it, whether it be a teacher who works to get better teaching materials and after-school programs or an employee who develops new ideas and products and influences others to invest in them.

Arga is the youngest member of the team. He is very interested in web design. His main task in the team is design the web. He enjoyed his job. He always asks the team to work seriously and give spirit for all of member. Although he is a moody person, but we believe he can did his entire job well.
[ Susantia 16 years old - making the articles ]
Susantia is interested in making articles. She is the brain of the team. She is diligent and always timely to collect her articles. We sure about her, we can't finish our project well. She is creative, she always give good idea although sometimes her idea is fool. She always cheers up the team. She is funny. And in the class she include diligent student.

Eleni is very interested in making articles. She is the ambitious girl in the team. She is not only talented but also creative. While her age the oldest, she always give spirit to other member. She is the master of making articles in our team.
[ Mr.Dalmono 44 years old – as the coach ]
He act as the coach in our team. He is very busy, but he always give his time to coach us finish this project. He is kind teacher and he always give us spirit to make good web and benefit for all. He is never complaint if we disturb his activities in school.
Summary of Our Project
When our teacher told us about Doors to Diplomacy project, we choose topic about "Leadership". Why we choose this topic? That's because today , many problems happened to the teenagers. They don't know how to develop their life and some of them don't have any confidence to show up their performance in front of people. So, we sure, if we explain about leadership and how to show up your life to the diplomacy will help you to develop your skill.
Our first step to do this project is, we fixed about the contains of our project. It needs long time to search article, read it, know it, and then make it into good article. We looking around internet. read some books which can help us to get information about Leadership. Our project not complete yet if we finished to making articles. We still must work hard to finshied our web. We must make a good design web.
With this project, we hope we can be better than befor and we can make some benefits for all.

In our class has many facilities for their student, there are 6 computer (but the student must bring one notebook or laptop for studying), LCD, and internet access. Our school to prepare two link internet access, they are LAN and WIFI. Every table or every student get one link’s cable to browsing internet. With the internet, the student can looking for more information to deepens their knowledge about their lesson in school. Beside that, internet can use for do the project. The school’s operator ready to help the student’s problem too. So, the student get better facilities.
Although the facilities in our class good, but beside the perfect something, exactly there are a little minus in there. For example, sometimes the link’s of internet have some problem likes soo long to access the internet, or lost the connection because time out. And sometimes the internet is used the student for playing game online and chatting, so make the connection busy and make the student not serious hear and learning the lesson from the teacher’s said.
So, from the fact. Internet access can make good student or bad student. So, we must use facilities internet access smartly. Not just for play, but for study too. And, we hope there are not the internet access’s problem.
Problems we had to overcome
If we want to get success we must try hard to make it true. We must be seriously to do that. Without serious, hard work, and great teamwork we can’t get what we want. To begin with exploring our topics, research, and interview with some people will help us to make articles. But it’s not easy to make good articles and will make people interest with us, we must divide our time to do this, be serious and be patient are the key to get successful.
The first we were confused to choose the topic, and finally we decided to choose “Leadership” as our topic, because today we think leadership is one of important thing in our life. But it’s not easy to get information about leadership. We must looking around the internet to search information about leadership, and then we make it to be good article and benefit for all. The second problem was the time to do this project. We must manage our time to study, did our homework, and finished this project. The next problem is internet connection didn’t give much contribution, because internet in our school sometimes work slowly or maybe internet access lost the connection, so we can’t search article for our project. The fourth problem was different activities of our member team. Although we are in the same class but our activities was different. We must work efficiently if we want to finished our project well. The fifth problem we had and we think the hardest problem for us was we lived in city where its so far from capital city. So, we can’t keep contact with leadership organization in capital city. But all of the problems that we had didn’t put down our spirit to do the best for all. We wish with our website we can help people who had problem with their skill to develop their life and become a good leader.

We had to work hard to search information about leadership. Everyday, we connected to search all of information. Our school also display our project to the journalist and show it to all of society in our city. Our teacher and headmasters become know more about leadership for our life.
How did your activities and research for this Doors to Diplomacy Project Support
Standards, required course work and curriculum standards?
Our project about leadership and traits support our curriculum. We know that leadership very important in our life. We sure that all of the people need spirit to become a leadership in their life, especially in their community. Our website created to increase all of people, especially for the teenagers to get a spirit of leadership in their life. With this project student can learn how the leadership help their life. We will practice to develop our skill become good leader. We understand if leadership very important to diplomacy and internal issues. Our discovery about our educational system is related to our topic. Where in our school we must practice how we must become good leader starts from themselves.

Yes, we did. We always write the sources about information we get from the internet.

While creating the website we used notepad for javascript creation and Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 for
finishing the website. Ms Word 2007 for word processing . Ms Picture manager for Browsing picture. Adobe Photoshop CS 3 for editing picture .Internet Explorer 7.0 for Searching Internet information and image.
3) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your Doors to Diplomacy project both on-line and in person.
Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday there are presentation our work to our coach. They give opinion and suggestion. And at the finally day, our school invite the journalist and reporter from locally media. From this media, the people in our country know about Leadership which we explain in our web. And the people, especially student or young people have the soul to be the leader. Not only from the locally media, but also we tell about our web to our friends and parents. And they share it with the other people. And with our we, we tell about good leader in the world, with that we want to give motivation the people to be like that.
4) What has been the impact of your project on your community?
We are promoting our project in our school. We tell them for brave show their leadership soul. We tell them that all people can be the leader, because now, we usually find the people who have not self confidence. They don’t believe if they can do it. So, they cannot maximal to improve their creativity. We think, if the people believe they can be the leader, so their country can be the best too. Because they can give good opinion or give important something to building their country to be the best. To give good solution be good leader, we study all about the leader from website, book, or we ask the people who knows about that. We hope, with our web, we, you, and who read it can make good leader. But don’t forget, we don’t be arrogant leader.
5) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?
In doing our project we involved many persons. First we asked our teacher to help us. They supported us and help all we need. They teach us to make good article, make good web and they provide all the time to help us and don’t forget, they usually give encourage and information . After that we asked our parent, they supported us very much, they provide us with many electronic tools and software we need. Our friends help us too, they give good opinion for our web. And they give suggestion for us. We are happy have friend like them.
6) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)
Arga said :”This project help me to improve my English. Because I can practice speak English. I also can learn more about design web. I can learn how to make good web.”
Elen said: “I’m excited to join this project. Because I can learn more about leadership and traits. I must practice to develop my self. I also can improve my English with making articles for this project, and I think I’m so lucky I can join this project.”
Thia said: “With this project, my English has improved. For to do the project we must do together, so in here I find that work team is very important to get good job. And for my personal I get more knowledge, and I want to try brave show me. IT’S ME!! Now, I believe that I can be the leader too. If I failed do something, it is not the big mistakes but it is THE WAY GO TO BE THE WINNER“
7) Did the News Media Know About Your Project?
Yes we did. Our school invite the journalist and reporter from locally media. Because of that, automatically the people in our region know about our web. The journalist is local journalist. They are Kompas, Bernas, Kedaulatan Rakyat, Jawa Pos.
